What we do
Compensation claims under the GDPR Act may be new, but we know all about taking on people who abuse consumers’ rights. The management team behind Who Stole My Data? has experience in successfully securing compensation for people from the banks that missold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI). We already have systems, processes and people in place to undertake high-volume claims business and we know how to see claims all the way through.
Raising awareness of claims is an important part of what we do. We seek to promote consumer awareness and understanding of the rights under the GDPR, which came into force on 25 May 2018. We use our experience gained in running PPI marketing campaigns to administer a comprehensive marketing plan across TV, Radio, National Press, Outdoor and Digital to create awareness of people's right to make a claim when their rights have been abused. Our business has £10m-worth of buying power per annum and the marketing campaign is looked after by leading advertising, IT, data security and legal professionals.
We help high-volume claims processors and solicitors connect with people who may have a claim for compensation under Article 82 of the GDPR. We also target specific products, sectors and companies suspected of breaching the GDPR and can guide and advise where we believe the rules have been broken.
While no-one can really claim to be an expert in GDPR – the regulations have yet to be fully tested – we have all the contacts and practical experience in understanding GDPR compliance and a thorough knowledge of from where claims can come from.
We seek to identify breaches of the GDPR by companies, retailers, insurance providers, banks, internet service providers, social media providers, marketeers, advertisers or any other industry that might use, handle or process personal data.
